30,000 Scientists Suing Al Gore for Global Warming FRAUD
Recovered historical discussion from 30,000 Scientists Suing Al Gore for Global Warming FRAUD.
RETRACTION: Turns out this was a hoax. While this one may indeed be a hoax, when things like these become widespread, it remains a good bellwether of the underlying sentiment. The presence of a hoax may cast doubt on the issue, but neither statistics nor science deals in doubt, and the presence of a hoax in no way invalidates either statistics or science.
I Grapes would be so good as to supply the link I deleted, I'd be happy to edit it back into the OP.

Mugaliens: At first I thought they were suing over not getting a cut of the carbon offset money...Then it was obvious it was not serious news..
BTW: I took the same oath as you did....

Thank you for your service. I know from that you don't give lip service to Integrity.
The IPCC was established in 1988, set up not at the request of various consortiums of scientists, but "at the request of member governments." It's a UN product, combining the two UN organizations, the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). It was then endorsed by the UN General Assembly. "Its mission is to provide comprehensive scientific assessments of current scientific, technical and socio-economic information worldwide about the risk of climate change caused by human activity, its potential environmental and socio-economic consequences, and possible options for adapting to these consequences or mitigating the effects."
Meanwhile, their Wikipedia entry is conspicuously absent a "criticism" page, despite the fact that polls indicate half the world population thinks they're nuts. The absence of such a page or entry alone says volumes about the depth down which this rabbit hole goes. Regardless, the page itself contains several references to "criticism" which can be explored via Google, as the "See slso" and "External links" to criticisms are very tightly patrolled.
I could wax on to a ridiculous extent, but I've already brought these issues to bear here on BAUT (thanks Tusenfem, for banning me not once, but twice merely because I posted fact - I'm sorry sorry you don't like an inconvenient truth, when it actually happens to be a truth, instead of a government paycheck lining your pockets, you piece of anti-integrity filth).
Still...

More Than 1000 International Scientists Dissent Over Man-Made Global Warming Claims Challenge UN IPCC & Gore
Yes, it's old, but the entire AGW movement has largely been hobbled to a crawl in the light of more pressing concerns, such as Obama's blithering intent to start WWIII in Syria, void of either Congressional approval or international support.

Since STATU's edit and reply with quote functions appear as broken as it's wonderful old skin, I'll say this: "It's kind of funny, the movie An Inconvenient Truth had so many false facts that it was banned in parts of Europe."
That's only part of the reason why HALF the people around the world consider Gore's book and the entire AGW conspiracy to be just that: A conspiracy, most notably to falsify evidence to extract government funding dollars i.e. billions of taxpayer dollars to funding their "research" at our expense, while building mansions and swimming pools on falsified government contract dollar while the majority of US taxpayers are barely eking out an existence in apartments.
Hey, don't throw me under the treads - I'm a multi-millionaire. I have no $ in this fight. I simply fight against what's wrong in America, and the AGW issue has, since day 1, and especially since Gore's "Inconvenient truth" bullshit smack to high heaven ever since, particularly when he and the IPCC joined forces. He was awarded a $1 million prize. The IPCC got billions. Leading scientists from member governments earned millions each.
So, everyone who jumped on board is filthy rich. Swell.
Meanwhile, the last decade of evidence says "HUH? WHAT?" while those who funded the billions of dollars of government funding, much of went to fund the pools and tennis court of those at the top, are languishing in squalor.
It goes back to integrity, which in my observation over the last decade, is sadly lacking in the non-military world. In my twenty years of service, I never encountered any individual who would refused to give me a straight answer when I asked them face to face. I think, in part, because they respected me enough to give me their answer, whether I wanted to hear it or not, knowing that I would, in turn, respect their candor.

This whole thing drives me to distraction....I deal with a lot of people who actually think this AGW thing is some kind of truth...rather than just a theory. I have stopped "wrangling with pigs over the quality of oranges", (to quote one of the early 20th century sages....)
Maybe the motto of the Great and Illustrious Friedrich II might be appropriate....."Non Soli Cedat"

Are you referring to "Quicquid plantatur solo, solo cedit?" It's Latin: "whatever is affixed to the soil belongs to the soil." Has to do with real estate law, the difference between permanent fixtures, to be conveyed with the deed to real estate property, and property, such as a car, or furniture.
"Non soli cedat" might be translated, "it's doesn't belong to the soil."

No the motto on the Prussian Flag...."Fear no Sun" meaning Louis XIV...and his country, to the Prussians at the time He was their enemy and source of emulation...I just meant the simple meaning of the phrase for the warming debate...

Well, turns out the truth is finally coming out after all:
Fox News: Sea ice up 60% since last year alone
Forbes: Climate "Alarmists" debunk their own science
. Tired of being misrepresented in the media and by other scientists.
The second link is rather amazing, as it gets into the politics of why the bells were rung in the first place. It's nice to be exonerated by a magazine like Forbes!
