Universal Expansion can be explained by acceleration towards a singularity. The singularity needs to be spherical.
So basically if we are free fallers into a spherical singularity from the inside.

What if this spherical singularity is created by matter outside the universe as we know it. This matter might come from other big bangs around our universe. I don't know whether you have heard of dark flow but I thinks that it might be evidance that two of those 'universes' are colliding. In theory this should happen in every direction of our universe. This would explain why our universe is accelerating in a simular way as the spherical singularity.

Yes this works well with what I was thinking. But all you would need is fan out acceleration in one direction.

I seem to gather that you, Tom, think that the event horizon is the singularity of a black hole....and you think that perhaps we might be inside one of these things?
well going to my theory(hypothesis thing) that a black hole is just a magnified grain of dust the mass of several stars(for big ones)---there IS no inside of the event horizon; the EH hasn't formed, I suppose you can't magnify a zero sized point, so I can't agree that the event horizon is a singularity, as I don't think there is a singularity as a point, or a sphere, but I know what you mean, as that is what I thought once.
Anyway sorry to butt in with my ATM.
what is stopping the event horizon thing, in your idea, attracting itself, and then collapsing?
here, is a thread I started back in 08, where I argue that matter can't exist inside the event horizon(when I believed in one), due to the information that made up matter not being able to move back and forth through the object and hence keep it as matter-due to needing to exceed c, in order to get out......if you see what I mean.

Definitely some good points.
I am not sure I look at the universal EH is the same as Mainstream BH EH but more like a Rindler Horizon ... although I am still researching this.

If you assume that the universe continues to accelerate then there will be points of the universe that if you sent a signal from will never reach us.
I could agree with you however that an EH never forms. As you have seen in my posts there.

Imagine there wasn't only one big bang but an infinite number of big bangs. Each big bang creates a universe as we know it. Every universe is expanding and accelerating because of gravity from surounding universes. This would explain the acceleration which at the moment is explained by dark energy. This dark energy is suppost to make up 74% of mass-energy of our universe but nobody can detect it.
At some point the matter from a big bang would collide with matter from other big bangs. This area would have a very high density and therefore would attract more matter(dark flow:

) . Eventually the region would reach almost infinite density like at the beginning of our universe. So it would produce another big bang. This would happen in all directions. A never ending moddel that would explain two unknown observations.
