Scientific Activism - People for an Honest Planet Definition

HI I saw your group advertised on facebook and thought it might work well with a group I started. Attention those of you who are upset with the IAU's decision, and have read about the IAU's decision to "demote Pluto", you are not alone. Please join the facebook group entitled: People for an Honest Planet Definition and help spread the word. Welcome to Facebook This organization/group is for everyone to join, as we try to correct an injustice committed upon the scientific community by fewer than 500 voting members of the IAU. The purpose is to spread the word about a more scientific proposal, not bashing. I'm extremely busy but will try to drop by this messageboard from time to time, however, because of my schedule I can't actively debate the purpose of my group anywhere but on the official facebook page. If you want to debate against us, feel free, but I suggest you read in detail the "planet demoting resolution" first. I have found few people who didn't quite understand what the IAU did, and once they found out - they quickly changed their positions against the IAU. Please give us a shot!
