About a year ago I had heard of different countries in the EU wanting to form a circular wind turbine grid so as weather fronts move in it would spread the power around, lowering the intermittent problem inherent with wind turbines. But, this sounds like an even better idea to solve the same problem with solar in the mix as well as hydroelectric power.
